Maintenance Rules
For Tileskin® with SMELLTRAP function maintenance some steps are needed (read below) using ACTIVATOR, a natural origin product, used to activate and regenerate the Tileskin® material with SMELLTRAP function.
It isavailable for purchase on the site in packs of 50cl and the pack should preferably be kept in the freezer (it can withstand 20 freezing cycles without deteriorating) or in the fridge.
After applying the Tileskin® with SMELLTRAP function, activate the Product in order to exploit its odour-absorbing properties to the full.
Use ACTIVATOR diluted with ordinary tap water (3% solution + 97% water), and a litre of diluted solution can treat about 90 sq m of Tileskin® with SMELLTRAP function.
The diluited solution has 8 hrs maximum life-span, limit after which the function is no longer performed. It is therefore recommended to prepare only the quantity needed for activation.
The diluted ACTIVATOR must be applied all over the surface of the Tileskin® using a sponge or, better still, a manual spraying device (available for purchase on the site).
Wait about three minutes before drying the product with a sponge or cloth.
